Call for Abstracts
The organization committee and the Doctorate in Engineering invite Doctorate (Ph.D.) students and Master (M.Sc.) degree students to participate in the Doctoral Symposium. The symposium provides doctoral and master students an opportunity to interact with their colleagues, researchers and experts in different areas of engineering.
Submissions must be in ABSTRACT format and we suggest to include the following information:
- Motivation, problem description
- Background and related work
- Novelty and significance relative to the state of the art
- Results obtained and work in progress
Evaluation
The selection process will focus on the candidate’s motivation, the integration of candidates in the early stage of their research or PhD thesis.
Publication
WEA’22 will collect all accepted abstracts into a Book of Abstracts with ISBN and will be allocated in a permanent server location for open free access.
Best Abstract Awards
The best three abstracts (Doctoral Symposium abstracts are eligible) presented during WEA 2022 will be invited to submit a full paper to the WEA 2022 special issue “Applications of Artificial Intelligence, Optimization and Simulation” into the Journal SN Computer Science:
